Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Case Management: Provide recovery support services including support group facilitation with integrity
Provide Peer Recovery Coach direct care services
Provide Community Outreach to develop and collaborate Community Alliances
Ensure necessary documentation to meet funding contract (s) performance requirements
Maintain and ensure a current resource directory availability
Continue to foster community development and awareness of community education needs

Experience

Job description

General Description: Provide peer recovery support and services to individuals and their families. Responsible for recording and reporting applicable data. (Must have at least one year personal recovery from substance abuse)

Characteristics/Experience Preferred:

Be a person of good ethics and understanding of ethical guidelines for peer recovery support services
Mentoring and recovery monitoring experience
Personal experience of substance abuse recovery (minimum of 1 years personal recovery from substance use disorders)
Experience in community liaison and collaboration
Comfortable working independently in community settings
Agree to work flexible work hours
Exhibit a high level of energy and commitment
Open attitude towards different pathways to recovery
Able to focus on and reinforce positive strengths and behaviors
Experience in project coordination and production of community events
Acceptable background check and drug screen
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
Maintain a good driving record at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 - $15.38 per hour
